No name, no address, no phone number lives on the chip. It has no battery and no GPS, and it only responds when a phone is held against it.
You control what finders see.
Every profile field has a visibility switch. Your contact details are never shown to finders; messages relay through FoundHound without revealing either side's identity.
Location is always a choice.
Finders are asked before any location is shared, and can alert you without sharing one. We truncate IP addresses before any logging.
Your data is yours.
Export everything we store about you as JSON, or delete your account entirely — both are self-serve in your account settings. We don't sell data. Ever.
